It was kept quiet — until a Harley-Davidson came into the picture.
And for a Los Angeles veteran, surprise… things got a lot noisier — in a good way.
Ernesto Olivares was all smiles Friday after the popular motorcycle company teamed up with the Wounded Warrior Project and Adam Sandoval — founder of ScootinAmerica — to give him a new bike.
Olivares served in the U.S. Marine Corps for nine years, just recently retiring after two combat missions in deployments to Afghanistan.

But his former motorcycle was stolen. So, on Friday Top Rocker Harley-Davidson in Canoga Park became one of eight stops on a tour across the country called “MISSION: THANK YOU” to celebrate veterans across the country and surprise them with new motorcycles.
